We are very proud to announce the availability of FWCloud-API 1.2.0 and FWCloud-UI 1.1.0, the main packages of the FWCloud project, with lot of new features, performance improvements and bug fixes.

This version brings new amazing features like hook scripts at rule level that allows customized shell code execution after and/or before a policy rule load, VPN connection block/unblock, search by name, port, and IP, performance improvements in FWCloud snapshots restore and FWCloud import procedures, etc.

We want to thank the community for all the suggestions and help to make FWCloud better every day.

Update procedure
The next time you access your FWCloud platform by means of the web user interface, a popup message will warn you about the new versions for FWCloud-UI and FWCloud-API packages. Say yes to run the update process and your FWCloud platform will be updated in a matter of a few minutes.

New features
- Hook scripts feature at the rule level. It allows to add shell script code before and/or after a policy rule load.
- Enable tree search by object name, TCP/UDP port and IP Address.
- Add Block/Unblock VPN connection options.
- Performance improvements in snapshot restore and FWCloud import processes.
- Extended the information displayed by the "where used" search feature. For example, if we use this feature over an OpenVPN, display the rules with groups that include OpenVPN prefixes that include this OpenVPN.
- Include VPN connection status (enabled/disabled) in tree's nodes for the OpenVPN connections.
- Additional info (TCP/UDP port and IPv4/IPv6 address) in tree's nodes.
- Hundreds of new software tests for IPTables compiler.
- Support progress bar instead of full log for the long operations.
- Add socket messages support for long operations (restore snapshots, import FWClouds).
- New dialog management, improvements on dock (minimized dialogs) component.
